He heard her heels first, then the exhausted sigh of indifference.
Maybe, if he remains silent, she will as well. 
Besides, it’s worked for them thus far.

Ride the Wave Baby

Victor has been coming to the beach since he was a toddler.
He loves to find a cozy little spot, setup his umbrella, roll out an oversized towel, and bury his toes in the sand.
Today, as he watches a young girl mount her board, he is instantly reminded of the freshness of youth.

Seal the Deal

Jesse steps off the train and onto the platform with an air of confidence that he rarely experiences.

Today is his big day, a day that he has dreamed about for so long.

With the hint of a smile on his face and the swagger of a player in his walk, he stares up at the escalator, acknowledging that it is his last obstacle.
